Abstract Algebra One of the best Pikes of the year. The harmonically interesting lead work in The Coloring of Metals and the great, 80s-style crunching metal chording in Long Walks is fantastic. Love the guitar tone, great drumming, and I don't even miss the bass here. Don't need it.

Jacques Amman buckethead is what the world needs more of. pikes like this one can help us realize our similarities rather than our differences. and who we are spiritually.

Jean the Dreamer Moon Stones is beautiful, haunting and melancholy. The next two songs become energetic and upbeat. At the same time this pike has a unified feel to it, and it’s worth the ride.

Brewer1 Beautiful Progression! Love the retro “Gallup” sound from the 80’s on #2 & #3. Once again transported through space and time by the gatekeeper of Bucketheadland!

Boslice Love it, excellent ripper from start to finish. Rock-n-Roll into “Long Walk” is superb. 🤟

Buckethead's finest solo release. It might be equaled to a few of his other later solo efforts, but this one is such a string of banger after banger of unfettered metal with progressive and avant garde elements. it's so consistently high throughout the whole album, even the weird skits and serial killer songs certainly bring it to the realm of concept album; it wraps up in one of the most fun metal experiences. Metal doesn't always have to be so dark and gloomy, BH always brings fun to the table iheartf2p
